For the rear stand I had to unbolt the top of the stand and turn the bracket over - that changed it from a rubber block to a spool arm stand. Is yours different? I also wonder if I had the same issue as you with the handle - the pins don't seem to line up properly with the slots? If so, rotate the handle 180 degrees and they should line up perfectly.

I'm still nervous about the front forks balancing on those rotating rubber blocks, but I've shaken the bike a little and they didn't move.
