edit: This bike is my 1st bike too..did exhaust, shim, Klen remove, snorkel delete all within the 1st month i owned it and followed the DIY's. Bike still runs really well. show your BF the DIY, he'll be able to figure it out. If you do choose to not shim, its your decision. as long as you enjoy your bike
