It is done!
I utilized the front two windshield well nuts, and inserted them in to replaceable alum. tubes that slip over the steel mount structure. Suprisingly solid set-up. Total weight is 7.5 oz!
Trail Tech Vapor is next. Will probably mount a plate across the two alum tubes for that and the toggle ignition switch.
