I wave at anyone on two wheels. We're all brothers and sisters sharing the road, riding in the open without a two ton metal cage to convert our experience into little more than a video game. And, we all die the same, cages don't give a crap if the rider they hit was on a scooter or cruiser or sport bike. They just don't care.
The first time I rode out of my neighborhood and saw another rider they waved at me, which confused me to no end because I was sure I didn't know anyone that rode a Harley and dressed as the stereotypical biker, leather vest and all. I had no idea about the wave, now I pay it forward every chance I get.
