If they're off, screw the idle mix screws in just until they stop turning. Then count in 1/2 turn increments, and back them out 2.5 turns. That will get the screws roughly where they should be.

Now this is more than likely a dumb question but is that
1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 = 2.5 or
1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2= 2.5
Also is there a way to do this on the bike without taking the carbs off!?
This is my first bike ( obviously) so just asking obvious questions so I'll know for next time!
