My new Blinkers have 3 wires

Hi there! I got some new blinkers after my crash since the old one broke.

But they got 3 new wires, (+/- and ground?) They look like this:

Then it would be: RED = (+) | Black = (-) | White/Black = Ground
Am i right so far?

Now the plan was to cut the old wire and then use an Soldering iron to connect new and old +/- so i easy can connect it with the clip-on mechanism, but what do i do with the ground? (if it is ground). Could i just leave it hanging?
thx.

Btw the ninja blinker wire has a green and black/yellow wire. Is green for positive (+) and black/yellow for negative (-)?
