Kit admits she didn't know how to describe the brake hitting hard. There is progression to the master. We didn't break her stock master either. The second gen SV master works very well and is $30 all day on eBay. The stock SV calipers are tiny dual pots on SINGLE sided calipers. The inside of the caliper grabbing the back side of the rotor is a solid aluminum plate
