I love riding alone too - its destressing and freeing... but I also like the community aspect of a group ride. Meeting different riders, sharing stories, checking out the bikes/biker chicks
, and there's just something special about watching people in a proper staggered formation - changing lanes together, shifting blocking positions etc.
Now, of course, it's fully recommended to have a good lead and sweep. And when you do, the rides are amazing!
