To choose another bike is very much a personal thing and it’s easy to make a mistake if you have not had the chance to try one out. I was lucky enough to go to the Kawasaki test day not because I was going to buy anything just for the interest. The Ninja 600 and 1000cc are awesome but with one (for me anyway) big disadvantage is that because of the riding position a lot of weight is put on the wrists and shoulders, at commuting speeds this becomes painful, you need 70mph + for the wind to lift your body enough to reduce the load and make for a comfortable ride. The ER 6 N and ER 6 F give a riding position similar to the 250R and would make comfortable commuting machines, you do have to try otherwise your dream machine may become a nightmare.
