yeah, like i was telling you, it is REALLY easy to take off the gas tank. the most complicated part, which is still easy, is taking off the carb needle covers. it is easy to strip those screws if you are not careful.

the washers... i found them at radio shack. they sell it as an assortment of 100. i think 20 of them are #4's. city mill and home depot didn't have them. i didn't check lowe's since it isn't really close to my house. since it is by you, maybe you could check there first.

oh, and they are #4. not 4 mm. big difference. if anything, they are 3 mm.
