I remember feeling disbelief when I was crashing. Like... 'this can't be happening... I'm crashing my motorcycle and there's nothing I can do at this point to make this not happen!'. I was very lucky with my crash... Jiggles... not so much

I would count the guy in that video to be very lucky too. The way I see it, if you can walk away from a crash, all in tact then you've done really well. Being able to recover some of your bike from a crash is just a bonus. In seriousness, I do agree with @Racer x: better to crash a £4000 ninjette than a £9000 supersport.
