You might want to keep an eye out for additional leaks. When the engine is overfilled, sometimes the excess pressure can lead to oil leaking from various seals. The shifter seal is one of them... just a heads up.

what I don't get is that you drained the oil out and put back 50% of the engine's capacity and it was still overfilled?? how is that possible?
