Ill just say this.
For years, I wore a Fulmer modular helmet. Which had a flip up front on it.
And yes, I throughly tested it.
Highsided and the first part of me to hit the ground was the helmet....directly on the chin.
The helmet did its job, like I expected it to. I walked away with a little cut on my chin, a slight concussion and minimal road rash.
All this bull pucky about modular helmets not being sufficient is wrong. Provided that they are from a reputable manufacturer they are perfectly capable of protecting your noggin.
