I know nothing of painting but I painted some of the chrome/silver accents on one of my bikes to matte black and I like how matte black hides imperfections. The shiny black also shows imperfections worse then the matte in my opinion. Any color you chose though, chose cause you like it and youll be happy with. Post pics when you decide and paint.

Also how does it feel getting off your 250 onto a Hayabusa? Didnt waste any time upgrading! lol
