I know that this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this is something that has interested me for quite a while, so I figured I'd go for it.

Seeing that I have a brother that is a master at machining and welding I enlisted him to do all the hard work. He took a stock swing arm and started hacking... We used an 05 Zx6r rim with 180 tire and stock 250r rear brake bracket that was milled out to accept the Zx6r axle.

While putting on the swingarm I also threw on some new 2wheels levers and a Puig GP screen.

All in all the new swingarm and wheel added about 5-6 lbs, and has had little to no impact on performance. Took it for a 30ish mile ride today and had a lot of fun, lots of twisties and a couple of long straights and i really didn't notice a difference...
