I guess it depends on outlook of it, to me they are right there is no problem w 'fading'. It is to be expected on anodized parts exposed to the sun/elements, and therefore is working as intended.
I liked my set, which by the way did not survive a 0 mph drop, when someone backed into my parked bike. I plan on getting another set and painting or PC them before being added to bike. (Kinda wondering if just a clear coat or 2, would prevent or slow down the fading??)
