Your worse off ridding in a light mist. Thats when all of the oil is brought up to surface. Once you get into a steady rain, the oil washes away and as long as you take it easy and don't try to stop super quick it seems to be fine! I had no trouble. I was even on the highway cruising at 70 for like 10 miles.
