Yeah, I wouldn't even worry about the insert. It really isn't too loud when you have the airbox. The pods are louder than the exhaust.

my muzzys exhaust arrived and the quality is much better than other brands ive used. no sharp edges, muffler is sealed up tight. im going to skip opening it up....its to pretty
