that's not going to assure you've got the proper amount in there.
it depends on how much oil drained out and how much is still in there in the nooks and crannies, how long you drain the oil... etc, etc.... so many variables. It's not rocket science... just fill it back up so it's between the two lines in the sight glass and be done with it.
