Did the driver not come out to see if you were ok?
Just read the whole thread, seems like you said he did, i'm surpirsed he didn't sooner.
100% not your fault, as he was crossing over your lane of traffic and given he only has the right do so when the road is clear he is in the wrong, maybe you could have slowed down a bit, but he didn't look, which often leads to cagers saying "they came out of nowhere! They must have been speeding!" When really they just didn't see you.
