Interesting -- how does it work if the high beams are already on? I was advised in MSF to always have them on during daylight. And to be a broken record -- don't think it would've helped here, the only real solution to this incident was for me to go slower; but for other things I can see it being a super great way to attract visibility (currently my main technique is to 'sway' from left to right when I approach a car waiting to turn and such)
