JT 15T new gen sprocket installed incorrectly??

Wuttup guys. I am new to the forum but already love all the info that's posted on it. So anyways, I bought a JT 15t from the local Kawi dealership and had them put it on (i didn't have the tools, etc. plus they did it for only 40$).

They put it on just like the DIY shows, with the label facing OUT, not facing the countershaft like most of the riders in the forums are saying. BUT, the bike rides fine.

My question: is that safe? I called JT for official instructions, and they said "put it on just like the OEM one". They didn't have any instructions printed to send me or anything.

Well, the OEM one off my bike has TWO spacers, one on each side, where the JT 15T only has one on the side of the label.

What's the difference, and can this damage the bike? I don't want to take it back to the shop and have them redo it if it doesn't make a big difference. Plus, who am I to say what way the "right" was is? (I am sure they will be arguing that as well).

Any advise is highly appreciated. Thanks!
