I dumped my bike going very slowly on a gravel driveway so took it into body shop for repair and repainting. After I picked up the bike I noticed that my license plate bracket wasn't positioned properly and upon closer inspection discovered to my horror that the entire bracket on the Ermax fender eliminator was broken. Apparently the body shop backed my moto into something which cracked the ABS housing. I replaced it with a new Ermax fender eliminator but this time positioned my license plate bracket just below the eliminator, drilling two holes in the undertail.

I would not recommend anyone using the plate location that Ermax has designed into their eliminator because it will break when there is enough force applied to the plate, which surprisingly isn't much!

I purchased the replacement through the US Ermax distributor, Frog Specialty in California, and it cost much less than ordering the same part directly from the manufacture.
