Congrats! Looks sharp! I got mine about three weeks ago, a 2011 in green. I ride around town in 5th or 6th gear depending on the speed limit..try to keep it around 5k for cruising.
I too am carrying over my shifting from the 250, making it a really choppy ride lol Put about 400 some miles on it so far, scheduled to put about 2000 in the next month (riding to chicago and back!). It's a bit harder to rev match on downshifts, so easy to make the bike surge, but I'm starting to get used to it. The other thing is also upshifting..I think it engages quicker, so I have to reapply throttle earlier than on the 250. I guess I can change that, but I don't feel like messing with it yet.
One thing I did notice, on windy days when going at a decent pace, I notice that my helmet starts pulling upwards, like my helmet is trying to fly off my head! Have you had that happen to you??
