Two weeks ago I was riding around town for about an hour and a half. Bike was running perfectly normal but about a block away from the house the revs seemed to be hanging before slowly dropping back to normal idle then died as pulling into driveway. Seemed to be a sudden lean running condition.

Specs on bike: Area P full system, KN Pod filter, Sportisi Jet Kit. Pod filter was dirty as crap, pulled it off and cleaned it. Same rev hanging problem continued. Wasn't able to look further into the problem at time due to leaving for a business trip.

Today I was able to start looking further into the problem. Pulled carbs out, checked slides, needles, jets, and floats. No problem identified. Throttle cables properly adjusted. Put carbs back in but problem continues. Rev hang seems to start at about 4k.

I ride the bike on a near daily basis, was never stored or sat for an extended period of time. For the problem to arise suddenly it has me stumped.
