Another update
The bike did run after charging but the battery won't hold the charge. After a few days the bike wouldn't start. I can bump start it and a couple times (if i ride 30+ minutes) it will turn on again but the battery dies pretty quickly and if it is a short ride then there is no chance of it starting. My friend doesn't have time to check it out so I'm bringing it to a bike place nearby. At least I can ride it there.
