Depends highly on where you are and who's insuring you. I think that's the biggest factor.
I just upped my coverage with Progressive to 50/100/50 and 50/100 for uninsured/underinsured. I'm 20, have a clean record with both my car and bike, I took the MSF, and I'm paying 159 a year.
Progressive gives steep discounts after multiple claim-less years, but it was no where near 300/year when I started.
