Went in to get my arm checked today , they took new x-rays , and it looks like it's beginning to heal OK so far
I misunderstood when the doc at the hospital told me it was broken halfway ...
its actually broken all the way around the outer edge, not half way threw like I first thought
He said if I continue to keep good care of it though, I won't need surgery, but if I pull it loose they will have to pin it back into place and I will never be able to ride my motorcycle again.
As it is I am going to have limited mobility for the rest of my life. He said I would loose about 20% but will still be able to ride and work normally.
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it heals properly and doesn't come loose!
I still have to wear the brace for 6 weeks, maybe 8 to 10 he said.
Bruising is getting worse, but that is normal and will probably spread to cover my entire shoulder and arm soon
Pain is manageable , but it does spike at times to a high degree.
They gave me new meds, hopefully these won't make me nauseous....
