[visordown.com] - Stolen, recovered and stolen in 24 hours

A MAN from St. Louis, Missouri, had his motorcycle stolen, recovered then stolen again. In the space of 24 hours.

David Dickinson, 61, had a flat tyre on his motorcycle and his son pick him up on their trailer that night. The motorcycle was left on the trailer overnight, parked outside the owner's house. The following afternoon, the motorcycle and trailer had gone.

The theft was reported to the police, who later that evening contacted the owner with the news that they'd found the motorcycle still on its trailer, connected to a stolen truck. The police put the owner of the stolen truck in touch with Dickinson and the pair arranged for the motorcycle and trailer to be taken back to Dickingson's son's house.

The next day, Dickinson went to his son's house to pick up his motorcycle in order to get the flat tyre problem fixed but when he turned up to his son's house, his 2006 Harley Davidson Wide Glide had gone.

Dickinson has asked the police to take a closer look at the man who dropped his motorcycle back the previous evening.

A strained Dickinson said: "I'm not afraid to cry."
