True story:
In about 1997 I was walking from the garage where I parked my bike to my office. I was wearing a red/silver Aerostich Roadcrafter suit and carrying my black/silver Shoei helmet.
Approaching me on the sidewalk was an urban "yout" dressed in the latest street fashion. Specifically:
- Enormously baggy pants with the crotch at knee level and six inches of underwear showing.
- Aggressively untied basketball shoes with tongues hanging out
- Hoodie worn off the shoulder, around the elbows.
- Baseball cap worn semi-sideways.
He smiled and said "Yo, Power Rangers!!!"
I realized that even geared up like I was, compared to him I didn't look ridiculous at all.
Gear up and wear it like a boss.
