Alex, I'm not sure how taking a picture would help but i suppose I could tomorrow in the daylight. Yes I did take the cotter pin out and had my buddy who rides as well come over and he was shocked it wouldn't loosen up.
Forceofwill, I cannot loosen the nut, I would take a sledge hammer to the end of the bolt if thats all that was holding me back, haha.
Bob706, I am not sure of the socket wrench, but my buddy who lent it to me used it on his Ninja, so I'm positive its the right size. Its about a foot long so I definitely think I have enough leverage.
