Speaking of ratchet straps, it was clearly visible in the famous Tom Cruise riding by the runway scene in Top Gun. I think there is a thread somewhere on that.
In Dark Knight, I was pleased that even Batman wore a helmet. They didn't show him putting on the strap but good enough for me.
