Eyeballing the parts, it looks like you can swap the rotors over. The only thing I am unsure of is the 300's sensor read input. Perhaps swap the whole pregren stator, cover, and wiring over onto the 300 block?

300 crank angle sensor resistance 180-280 ohms
250 crank angle sensor resistance 100-150 ohms
300 crank angle sensor peak voltage 4.5 V
250 crank angle sensor peak voltage 3.2 V

Oh, and the 300's rotor has a crap ton of pick ups @choneofakind. Take a look:
