Eh, I am now used to filling up around then anyways with my KLX250 which only has a 2 gallon tank. But I can see many people complaining about that. Doesn't bother me a bit, just less weight!
This isn't a bike you would want to cruise on for more than 100miles based on those race-like ergos anyways. Fill up the tank and stretch your legs. And repeat until satisfied/sore.
