Cops don't pull people over from the right side and they can definitely keep up with a 250 if they want.

First part is correct, he saw me accelerate through the light, but there was another small intersection about 100 yards ahead, I turned right on that one, before I did that, the cop was no where to be see on my rear view mirror, I took few more turns after that until I settled in a dead end street.
