I just installed mine. I also ran into same snags.
1. Had to retap all the holes because the bolts wouldn't go all the way through adjusters. Good thing I had the tap and didn't have to go buy one.
2. Left side didn't line up right. Had to make the holes a little bigger.
3. Made a plate to move the brake reservoir back to prevent the hose from kinking.
