In 1973 I rode from Peekskill NY to Manhattan...only maybe 50 miles, only just under 40 degrees but I did it in a denim jacket and denim pants...without question the coldest I've ever been in my life. Hey, I was young.
2 years ago I ran from NY to Philly and back....close to 300 miles...to get some pretzels. Day started at 32...ended at 36 but I had electric gloves, sno mo suit and 2 sweaters so it wanst difficult at all. Wind chill froze the pretzels solid. It was fun.
