HERE is my post from another thread regarding my RAM mount (included are links to what I bought). It attaches just beside the choke switch. There's probably a little plastic cap on top of the hole you place the mount. If you remove that cap, you'll see a threaded hole (as you can see, I'm very mechanical) just asking for a bolt. IMO, it's the perfect spot for a GPS mount. |
Thanks for the link. So I will need 1) X-grip 2) double socket arm 3) 1" ball mount bolt. Anybody recommend a good source to buy these pieces for a good price??
EDIT Looks like I can get all 3 on Amazon for about $42 shipped.
Which size double socket arm will I need if I want my phone tucked in the windshield area?
