What I'm looking to do is setup an 808 camera on the top of my Ninjette's instrument panel, shooting me. I want that angle so when I post up a video looking for critiques, I can show what my body positioning looks like too.

So I'm pretty clueless when it comes to wiring (thank god for Step by Step DIYs). That said, I'd like to splice the 808's USB cable into the instrument panel's wiring cluster.

I cut open the USB cable, and there's a green, black, red, and white wire inside. My initial thought is to just splice each of those into a wire of the same color in the instrumental cluster. Is it that simple?
