This is the brace that most track guys get, mostly bc they have a hump in their suit and this accommodates for it. I have a few buddies that use this model and have about 80-90% of their head mobility. It doesnt take up that much room. Seen it in person. If you look up that model specifically there are track guys that use them a lot (if they have the money) bc they dont want to break their neck. I tried on a friends and it felt more bulky to ride but didnt restrict me at all. Maybe if you had a shorter neck and a bigger helmet. My friends had Scorpions, and I had my Bell Star.

Hope that helps. If I had the money I would wear it everyday on the streets.
