Needless to say, we had fun during the shoot!
The third shot was actually in direct sunlight. My wife helped by holding a diffuser to soften the sunlight down.
I started shooting in manual. So the first shots I got were at around f/5.6. Then due to the light changes all the time, I just switch to shutter priority. Made it easier, but the camera kept going to f/2.8, which really didn't help my DOF. I didn't want such a narrow DOF, but it worked okay. Maybe next time I'll put it in aperture priority, since there was such good light around me where I wouldn't have to worry about slow shutter speeds.
