I just tried wearing earplugs yesterday for the first time while riding, and have to say I didn't like them. I will give it a few more tries before completely writing them off. I do need to wear them though as my hearing is terrible. Being a framer for 12 years probably hasn't helped much either with constant saw noise for 8-12 hours a day x that many years, lol.
