Right. But look at their positioning. Those 'aero' bars give them about the same torso angle as a standard endurance geometry road bike. Aero bars on a race geometry road bike get you nearly flat to the oncoming wind. They serve a purpose but require a totally different bike fit.
The aero bars in the video are more important for a different hand/arm position. The only thing that sucks about MTB's with flat/riser bars instead of roadie curves drop bars is arm and wrist fatigue from very few hand positions.
