I've been riding the 14t/43t combo for a little bit now. I think I like it. I can definitely tell a difference more so in my shift points as I mentioned earlier, nothing on the butt dyno though. The other day on a long straight up hill on the highway the bike pulled to 93 indicated in 6th, (little bit of a tail wind). With the stock gearing I don't think it would have gone any faster.
43t in the back seems like a good option for people who want to drop the revs just a bit but keep the little bit of get up and go that the bike has.
