Looking over my glasses is not an option for me... I'm utterly blind (correction of +6.50/+7.00).
I have a geeky solution for it, which works very well.
Take a Breathe-Right strip. Fold it in half so that it makes a peak. Stick it high up on the bridge of your nose and perch your glasses on top.
You look even dorkier than usual when you're not wearing your helmet but it is 100 percent effective.
This year I'm going to get some contacts solely for riding use... I prefer glasses most of the time and I also wear progressive lenses.
