Sell it for what you think its worth ( be reasonable now ) . I had a 2005 ninja 250 with 9k miles, missing left fairing, fairing over front wheel was cracked badly, windscreen was falling off and had signs of dropping the bike... I bought the bike like this for 1400. I posted it on craigslist to see what i could get and i sold it for 2k. Actually made a profit. Had to wait a couple of weeks but it sold.
