Jason, do not annoy yourself for a false purchase because you bought the correct PCV.
To tune the ignition of an engine it requires a very high level of knowledge about engine technology and very expensive test equipment.
An ignition timing WITHOUT knowing the original ignition curve is IMPOSSIBLE.
If you are keen then you can change your ignition fix with a Woodruff key to adjust for a different value, but also that I would not advise you. Although I must confess that I did just that and it's one of my best mods, but my ignition is now advanced up to 46 degrees.
So if you are really stuck and plan to go this route, then also because of his knowledge only Chris would be in question to make all the settings in the ECU directly for you.
