None of my 3 R6's ever got too hot. my street bike would stay at 165-180 pretty much all the time, and that's in Northern California where it can get hot. Then again, I only ran distilled water/Water Wetter in all my bikes so it keeps temps a few degrees cooler.

I'd really like to try out the R1 at the track with it TC. My FZ1 will spin up the rear tire pretty controllably exiting turns if I want it to, but there's only a few turns that I'm comfortable doing that. How cool would it be to WOT exiting a turn and having the bike plant itself and launch out? yeah, pretty cool.

btw... how old are ya Danny Boy?
