I'm aware of this -- fortunately, my job pays well enough that I don't have to worry about recouping insurance on a $4000 bike

If the EX500 gauge cluster fits in the fairing even halfway well, I might just do the swap as a project in the next year or so. 'course, a kit would be a dream come true, since it'd get me out and tearing around on it faster.
