My wife and I ( both driving at the time) had a Toyota tercel brand new off the show-room floor ...I changed the oil every 2500 miles and stepped up the oil viscosity at 100k miles to 20w40 and again at 300k to 20W60 in the end it reached 410K miles before the Rods started knocking slightly.... so I parked it and planned to rebuild it...but the parts cost more than the car was worth !
so it set.... also had a Toyota pickup over 400K miles on it and sold it.... something I wish I had never done that was a great little truck !
